Hoping everything is all good with the team. Don't worry about pushing the date back. Good things are worth waiting for. :)

I immediately forgive any faults of this game because there was an orange speckled English setter that looked just like my rescue boy. XD

Seriously, though, I really enjoyed this. The world needs more Victorian dating games! My one gripe is that there were some odd pauses between lines that caused me to click through too quickly. Luckily, ren'py lets you rewind so I didn't miss any juicy details. I'll definitely be keeping my eye on this one

I think I'd make Aya the fox (cute, mischievous, deceptively dangerous), and maybe Vexx as a ferret (can be sweet and cuddly if they so choose, but is still a weasel)

That's a good point. What I wanted the MC to do after the confrontation with Vexx was go get a hug from one of the crew members (I was happy that was a choice with Calderon, but it was more to comfort him rather than the MC, and I know not everyone would want to use the flirt option with him), but instead they just calmly told everyone who they were and then listened to everyone else's stories. Which also brings to mind that some options to flirt were just extremely awkward. Bash and Ryona's options were comforting, so they made sense, but with June, neither he nor the MC should have been in the right headspace for that

I loved Chapters 1&2, and I don't hate Chapter 3, but getting every character's tragic backstory one after another after another is pretty tedious, especially right after MC just learned their own tragic backstory. I don't know if the devs were in a rush to get Chapter 3 out for people in quarantine, but it definitely feels rushed, especially since they've only known MC for a few days and none of the revelations have had time to sink in. It doesn't feel natural and ruins the immersion, becoming the exposition dump chapter. If it had come from one or two characters that MC had gotten closest to , with some allusions to the backstories of the other characters, it would feel a lot more earned, plus add to the replayability (ex. Calderon had come to my quarters at the end of chapter 1, plus I chose to work with him in chapter 2, so him sharing his backstory felt more natural than some of the others). It doesn't ruin the game,  it just could have been handled better.
